my bp has sodium laureth sulphate in it

It shouldn't be. It is in many products, including toothpaste. It's primarily a cleansing surfactant, so it deals with your skin on the surface.

It can be a mild irritant, but otherwise, I wouldn't worry. It's not known to be unsafe.

I suspect it's a face wash since sodium laureth sulfate is used to get the latheriness in shampoos and tooth paste. i'm not sure if it's bad like sodium lauryl sulfate, but all the products I've had contain one also contained the other so I didn't have to worry.
