Hi , I am a young male from Saskatchewan Canada and was wondering where my closest option to have the Total fx (active fx deep fx) procedure done. I am willing to travel and I dont believe this is offered in canada. If anyone knows where to have this procedure done (preferebly the northern states) coul you please reccomend a dr . thanks

Clyde, don't give up. Here is a guy I talked to in Colorado, but that is a bit of travel for you.

It took me a while to find Fraxel Repair, but after much searching I found the only doctor within 200 miles and she was only 2 miles away. I believe the delivery method of Fraxel Repair is superior to TotalFX. Use Google!!

I agree with you dudley. I was more impressed with the Repair over the total. And I had the Total done by a RN that travels across country and over seas to train others on the machine. With the Total I had to do nothing after the procedure except apply vaseline to keep moist. With the Repair I had to do vinager soaks every 2-3 hrs for the first week. Which means it's a stronger procedure. Plus on Medical Spa MD I had read the Deep part of the Total only covers 15%, while the Repair covers 45%.

KatieKat, I did a lot of comparing before I settled on Fraxel Repair. I thought the post treatment routine was the same for both procedures. I applied the Aquaphor along with the regular vinegar soaks. You are only the second person I have heard of that has done both TotalFX and Repair. Do you know what your treatment levels were for both lasers? I tell people that this is a slow process, but it works, and I am planning my third Repair in the Fall.
