Please let me know your positve experiences with smoothbeam:)

After several years of contemplating, I finally underwent my first smoothbeam treatment today. Although I still have what I consider mild active acne, I am more concerned with the scarring that is left over after more than 16 years of battling mild to moderate acne. Like most of you, I've been on anitbiotics, Retin-a, topicals, and even Accutane. Although my acne has "settled" down in the past few years, it is definitely not cured, although it no longer bothers me like it used to.

I highly recommend numbing cream before this procedure, as I only felt a slight twinge with each pass of the laser. I felt it more on my forehead where I applied less numbing cream. I definitely felt "naked" arriving to the MD's office with no make-up on.... a first for me. But anyway, I'd just like to hear anyone's POSITIVE experiences with smoothbeam. I have read plenty of negatives on the message board --- I think this is why I've waited so long to have it done. I decided that, before I turn 30 next year, that I really want to finally have a handle on my skin once and for all, and stop hiding under make-up. Everything else in my life is falling into place right now, and it's just this skin that's really holding me back! Anyone, please share your experiences.... I'm looking forward to hearing about them!!!

Jill
