I've been reading up on urine therapy for a little while now...I'm currently using Tazorac.

Has anyone done both at the same time? Should I tell my doctor if I do start putting urine on my face? I'm not embarrassed to talk about it on here...but seriously, I don't think I can bring myself to tell my dermatologist.

What do you think?

Wow I just read up on what that is (what I thought, heh). I'm won't judge anybody, but what's wrong with Benzoyl peroxide?

Well, I'm in my thirties and have tried everything under the sun. It has cost me a lot of money over the years, and i haven't found a very good cure. I have read up on a LOT of people who have great success. The Tazorac is working okay, but I'm willing to try the urine therapy too. I just don't know if I should stop using the Tazorac, or if I should alternate, or what...

I've laughed my butt off reading about this for a while, but I still think it's legit.

I don't see how it could affect the tazorac if you don't have it on the skin at the same time. I've been doing UT for just under two weeks and I'm noticing a difference. There is no inflamed acne on my face atm, but my comedonal acne is clearing up very slowly. If you do decide to go for it I would recommend fresh urine. a lot of places say to use the stale stuff but it made my skin much worse. I would just get up, wash your face, pee in a CLEAN CUP, and put it on your face. Then 15-20 minutes later have a shower and when your out put on the tazorac. I'd be nervous to tell my doc, which is why I'm only going to tell her if it clears me.
