Hello!!!

Im new to the site and have seen alot of helpful info from u guys. Before I start with my question I wanna give u guys some background info on me, I am 22 y/o who has been suffering with acne since about 13. I have mild/moderate acne, extremely oily skin and have alot of blackheads and whiteheads mostly concentrated to my forehead and on one side of my cheek... I tried every product over the counter and have been prescribed Retina-A (which really discolored my skin), BP, Differin gel, Duac, antibiotics, BCP, u name it I've tried and still have not gotten the results I wanted... Now my derm suggested accutane and im goin to start it next monday (Sotret 30mg).

But back to my original question, Has anyone heard about using milk of magnesia on ur face to combat shine??? Does it work?

I've not tried it myself, but I recommend oil blotter sheets.

Cean and clear makes them and I love them because they don't smudge my makeup.

Drink lots of water and moisturize regularly. I found a hUGE difference in my face's shine by doing that. Try a egg white mask, you can google it. It helps with oils too.
