Alpha Hydrox Foaming Face Wash - Yay or Nay?

I've been suffering from acne since I was 11, and I'm 16 now and nothing has gotten much better. There will be times where my skin looks really good, and then the next day it will breakout and look awful. I've tried loads of products - Clearasil, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Proactiv, Acne Free, and loads more. I'm trying to find something that really works, and recently I read up on Alpha Hydrox Foaming Face Wash and people seemed to give it really good reviews. It looks really good and inexpensive, so I'm considering buying it, but most of the people who reviewed it were a lot older than I am. Does it work for all ages, and is it really good? If somebody could help me out, that would be amazing :) Thanks.

What type of acne do you primarily have? Is it whiteheads/blackheads or is it inflamed? If inflamed, the glycolic acid wash may help but you'd likely be better off with trying the regimen EXACTLY as it's set out. And don't give up too early. Read the biggest mistakes page.

If you primarily have non-inflamed acne (clogged pores, whiteheads/blackheads), the glycolic acid wash might be helpful.
