carrotcake1029 0 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Hey guys, new to the forum. I've just got a basic question, but I may have more to come .I have been on Accutane for about 2 months now and I am about 90% cleared up. An ongoing problem though is extreme dryness. I even sometimes need to take a break halfway through a day to re-moisturize.Later on when I get home, I could care less what I look like. Is it a bad idea to be around the house with an extremely dry face, or even go to bed like it? Should I be moisturizing when I notice my skin starting to get flakier, even when my "cosmetic appeal" isn't relevant?Anything you guys can say will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! DangDave 0 Share Posted April 2, 2009 If you're flaking then yes you should moisturize.
jemenfous5 0 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Use jojoba oil-it's the very best moisturizer. Makes dry, flaky skin disappear and usually lasts all day
nyankeefan 0 Share Posted April 3, 2009 I use Cetaphil Ultra Hydrating lotion morning and night - it works AMAZING.

Siava 55 Share Posted April 3, 2009 carrotcake, Accutane dehydrates the body so quickly so on top of moisturizing, drink lots and lots of water if you're not doing that already.
