International Check Orders

i am from england. we call them postal orders but i assume they are the same in principal. they are addressed to a person or company, so therefore can only be 'cashed' by them. that's what makes them safe. also, you can use a recorded delivery service (so the letter/package has to be signed for) & that gets insured. in the uk its relatively cheap to insure for upto $1000, so if the check order goes missing in the post (highly unlikely!) you can claim.

hope that helps you out.
