changing concentrations of bp. please read

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

I'm on my 4th month of the regimen, I'm a student

I'm using 2.5% Panoxyl benzoyl peroxide. Well its having its effects, but I'm kinda low on it. My sister bought me a 10% BP. I'm having thoughts on switching to it while I'm saving up on the panoxyl 2.5%

So here are my questions.

Is it okay to change from 2.5% to 10 % BP?

Does different brands of BP means that it has different effects?

When you have already shifted from 2.5% to 10%, can you just apply a thin coating of 10% BP on your face?

Hope you guys can reply! :)

I'm using Benzac AC. 5%. It's water-based so less irritating than panoxyl. Unless your pimple is that bad. Using too much benzoyl peroxide can damage your skin. Try extra virgin coconut oil. It kills bacteria, fungus, etc...

Hehehe. Ako nga. Wala pa kasi ahia ko. Kaya ngayon ako nakakagamit ng internet. Hiyang ka siguro sa panoxyl. Ako hindi. Parang sinampal face ko ng malakas. So red. Kainis. But this previous week medyo mas naging okey. Sensitive ba skin mo? Dami bang acne? Sige try mo 10%.

2 weeks pala. Inaantok na yata ako.

Yes, sensitive skin ko, madami. Nasa genes namin eh.

my advise, stick to the lower % that works. higher % if it doesn't work.

So for example, I've been using 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide for the last four months, my skin is used to it, my acne has reduced but still I'm having 1 pimple a day, can I change to 5% BP?

Guys, can I get your thoughts on this?

thanks

hey guys

Can I get your comment on this

I'm on my fourth month on the regimen, its seems to work, my acne on the jawline, temples, chin side of nose, lower portion of my forehead is gone. But on the portion just under the hairline on my fore head and my cheeks are really bothering. Acne is breaking out DAILY on this areas, I think that the 2.5% BP isn't working, so what i did is I took 10% BP and applied it to my CHEEKS only, I'm on my 2nd day of trying it.

Do you think that the acne on my cheeks will disappear?

Do you think that it will have bad effects? or good effects?

Do you think that this is a good idea or bad idea?

Hope you guys can reply

thanks

Using 10% BP as a part of Dan's Regimen will absolutely kill your skin, and will dry it out. Stick with the 2.5% - it has proven just as effective and far less irritating.
