Do you use Witch Hazel? (Natural aftershave too!)

Recommended Posts

Went health food shopping today and bought some fun stuff. I picked up a bottle of Witch Hazel cause I hear it complements Apple Cider Vinegar to make a bottle of kickass all-naturalaftershave! Has anyone else tried this? Or just use the Witch Hazel as a toner? Otherwise I'll have be the guinea pig...again! #-o

This actually does work, believe it or not. The witch hazel can be found in the drug store and is mildly astringent. The cider vinegar you can pick up at your local grocery store.

1 part apple cider vinegar

1 part vegetable glycerin or witch hazel

Mix the cider vinegar and the witch hazel or glycerin together. Store in a decorative bottle with a cork stopper or screw top lid to keep the air out when not in use.

This aftershave won’t have any perfume in it so should not cause allergic reactions to people with sensitive skin.
