I've done a search on subsicion on this site but can't find anyone mentioning a doctor in or around the LA area.

Subsicion looks like the best start to a scar revision program since it goes the deepest. So I've decided to re-start my program all over again from scratch. I'm planning on subsicion 2-3 courses followed by needling 2-3 courses, then possibly a CO2 resurfacing or just chemical peels if there is a major concern with hyperpigmentation.

After all that, I might give non ablative procedures a try again such as smoothbeam and N-Lite.

If anybody can chime in on their long term experience with subcision I would really love to hear what your experience was like and how satisfied overall you are for having done the procedure.

Here's to starting over,

Bryan

I've had 3 subcisions, I don't think it was particularly effective for ice picks or boxcars. Good for rolling (but I don't have them).

Taking arnica and bromelain supplements gave me a down time of only 3-5 days.

Hey Maya,

How long has it been since your first and last subcision? So you have tried them on your box type and ice-pick scars and did not see any improvement?

Thanks for the reply

Bryan

I second the request for info on a doctor who's good with subcision in the southern california area. I won't need him for... bleh... a whole year, at least (just started accutane..), but it'd be good to know that there's someone decent in my area.
