Scarring: My worst enemy

i have mild/moderate acne, and not much of it is active on my face most of the time. but my biggest problem is red marks and scars that stay behind long after a pimple.

my question:

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP MY SKIN HEAL FASTER, AND STOP THE RED MARKS AND SCARS?

some notes:

**i wash and moisturize every night, and wash again in the morning

--just recently i stopped wearing makeup. i think it was clogging my pores a lot, so i decided to stop and see if it has any good effects!

**i dont pick

--i was a lot worse about it a few years ago, but i learned my lesson. it only spreads the bacteria, and it leaves ugly scars

**i only drink water

--i heard that sodas and sugary drinks are bad for skin. i tried switching to JUST WATER (no milk, no alcohol, no sports drinks, no energy drinks) and my skin DEFINITELY calmed down! it's hard, cuz i LOVE punch and juice, but it's worth the clearer skin!

**i change my pillowcase OFTEN

--almost every other night. it smells better, feels softer, and i feel better knowing there's no leftover dead skin rubbing my face! this is also important for any stubborn makeup that sticks to your sheets!
