Hey, first post.

K, so I started using Differin 0.1% gel on December 20th. I was prescribed the Differin in Septemberr 2007 and it cleared me up, so I just didn't use the extra tube until my face went crazy. Well, it's now March and it hasn't done anything, but make my acne worse. I went to my dermatologist today and he said that the Differin probably wasn't strong enough, so he put me on Tazorac. I think it's also 0.1%.

My question is, since I've been on the Differin for so long, can I still look forward to an initial breakout with the Tazorac or is my skin used to this kind of stuff by now? Will the Tazorac just pick up where the Differin left off?

My skin is so scarred up, I really can't afford another breakout.
