Megadosing on zinc causes:

- weakening of the immune system

- Gastrointestinal injury

- Acute kidney failure

- Internal Bleeding

- Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)

Megadosing on Fish Oil (Omega 3, 6, or 9 - or all)

(If your bottle says 3-4/day, and you're taking 6-10) - 10 is on the extreme side

- Thinned Blood (Think hemophelia)

- Unstable insulin levels in blood in non diabetics

- Anemia

Note - One omega-3 warning to keep in mind is that omega 3 oils act as blood thinners. This can be beneficial for people who have clumpy, "sticky" blood. Taken in CORRECT dosages - Omega-3 may help the blood flow more easily through arteries, benefiting the functioning of the heart.

Some fish oils contain Vitamin A - and if you're megadosing on fish oils that also contain Vit A, you're also getting EXTREMELY TOXIC levels of Vitmain A which is VERY dangerous. (Vit A Megadose - growth retardation, hair loss and enlarged spleen and liver and even death.)

In essence, too much of anything is NEVER a good thing.

Be very careful if you're still planning on megadosing on ANYTHING. Do your research. This is targeted towards some users who posted they were taking 10 fish oils per day.

On the upside:

Using zinc oxide for acne can help prevent the disorder as well as regulate the activity of the oil glands. Combined with a compound of oxygen, this mineral is effective in allowing protein synthesis and promoting a healthy immune system. A good immune system can assist in the healing of wounds which is why zinc oxide for acne treatment is used. The skin disorder is considered a surface wound, and the body has the ability to fight bacteria that may be the cause of the flare-ups.

Well, I hope this helped somebody out there.

Have a great day guys,
