Need advice on Salicylic acid for back acne

I have just started using a shampoo for back acnce body wash. It contains 3% Salicylic Acid. Few questions:

1.) Is this a good treatment for my shoulders (see pictures)??

2.) How many times should I wash my back/shoulders with this shampoo a day? Once? Twice?

3.) Is there anything else I should be using while using this shampoo on my skin??

I appreciate your help. Thank you so much

IMO:

1) SA is good

2) Once to prevent overdrying

3) I wouldn't use a shampoo. I would use an acne body wash like Neutrogenas. Shampoo is for the head not skin.

Also use a loofa in the shower.

My upper back used to look like yours, perhaps a little worse. It's a lot better now, since I started to use a simple SA cleanser (from the Chemists, NOT a supermarket), body lotion and slather a little bit of my shampoo when washing my hair on my back too (I add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil in my shampoo, which is why it's so good for my skin).

Anyway, I agree with Necro.
