How long have you been on The Regimen? A lot of people that are just starting think they don't need to moisturize because their skin hasn't really dried out during the first few days. Trust me, though, it will. Most people's (if not everybody's) skin gets extremely dry during their first few weeks to months on The Regimen. It can get red, flaky, and painful pretty quickly. Moisturizer is important in keeping those issues to a minimum while your skin adjusts to Benzoyl Peroxide.

I moisurize both day and night and the first couple days it did not flake

but ooooh boy that like 3 day was horrible

and let me give you an example of not moisurizing is my hand

it would get BP on it but i guess not enough moisurizer

its bleeding now am being more carfull of where the BP goes

my face is dry but not any where near where my hands are right now

its really important. if you don't want use moisturizer I don't think Dan's regimen is for you. plain and simple

Having been on the regimen--on and off--for about 4 years, I still moisturise after I apply the BP (in the night). I read many posts where people say that they can go without moisturiser, but those people seem to be the exception rather than the rule.

I've finally managed to get hold of Dan's AHA and I'm hoping it will improve my skin even further.

I've been on the regimen for four or so years, so my skin is used to it enough to where I can skip moisturizing during the daytime to avoid a shiny face. BUT, in the beginning, I had to moisturize religiously every time I BP'd, or else risk a very dry and peely face.

If you dont really want to moisturise, I recommend going to your skin specialist at hospital or the doctors. I was given a tub of this special moisturise soap so you are automatically moisturised with the soap, its really easy on the skin too.

If you don't moisturize, your skin will figure it out very quickly. It will then produce oil in super drive, and then reversing that.. well basically.. you have to just let your face get oily again, causing pimples.

Moisturize moisturize moisturize!! It is really hard to go back, don't miss a night!

Did you know that dry skin cause acne cause more acne?

I didn't and I got on the Regimen. The dryness made my face so much worse acne wise to start, but now I'm phasing out of it. I find moisturizer to be the most important part!

(Note - My acne isn't like everyone else's, I only get acne in the winter months when the air is dry and the weather is cold)
