Even on the regimen I would break out sometimes. Then by accident i discovered that there is a correlation between the consumption of pineapple and the cleairng of my skin... One day I ate probably a quarter of a whole pineapple, the next day my skin cleared up a lot. So I ate another half a pineapple the next day and my skin cleared even more.... Now I eat about 2 whole pineapples a week and combine this with the regimen and my skin is completely clear. Let me know if this works for anyone else.

Maybe Pineapple gave you a nutrient you were deficient in? Maybe you ate less junk food when you started eating more Pineapple?

Pineapples contain enzymes that help digest food, especially meats. That's why it's sometimes used in marinades as a meat tenderizer. Perhaps you had a problem digesting meat or something.

There is actually scientific evidence to back this up. Pineapples contain bromelain, which decreases inflammation. Eating a significant portion size of pineapples will definitely improve inflammatory symptoms in the body.

I'm exactly the opposite, I believe that I may have a food intolerance to pineapple, as I seem to break out after eating a large portion the following day. =( I love pineapple!
