I'm 13 and have mild-moderate acne. After a recent visit to the derm, I was prescribed 100mg of minocycline and Retin-A. I used the minocycline for about a week, then stopped due to...well...not remembering to take it, and then eventually stopping. However, I did not make use of the Retin-A for the fact that I really don't think my problem isn't significant enough to do so, and that I don't really like my skin looking red. I currently do not use any moisturizers.

My forehead (my biggest biggest concern), has the type of acne that are small bumps, bigger than my blackhead but not as big as pustules/whiteheads, but I do get the rare pustule. My biggest problem, actually, is the red marks left. I've had basically what was acne that had been extracted, turned bright red for about a week at a time, and faded to be light brown. I'm going through one of these phases right now as well, I have 4 whiteheads/pustules that I popped, and are bright red because of it. Two of them are hard to the touch and are painful to the touch. I've been religiously apply the BHA to them, and have not experienced any reddening at all from it or any irritation, but also have not noticed many results. It seems to suppress the maturing of them.

My nose is covered with blackheads, and I've been using the BHA as well. It seems it helped but has only cut maybe 5-10% of them, so I'm still looking. I can't really tell, but it seems there's less, I may continue and see.

Recent breakout on the side of my cheeks, about 10 "bumps" and possible whiteheads, and have recently reddened and feel like they're extending to my jawline.

I've started using Differin on the back of my neck where I have a decent breakout. I'll see how that works and I may switch to using that or Retin-A on my face if I see any improvement.

I'm really open to trying almost anything.

What I'm planning to do so far is either:

Regimen 1:

Morning:

Cleanse

Moisturize

Night:

Cleanse

Baking Soda scrub

1:4 parts ACV:Water (topically applied)

Egg white mask

Medicate with either BHA, BP, AHA, Retin-A, you get the idea, anything, I need some recommendations)

Moisturize

I would continue with the Retin-A. At least with the big pimples. I had similar bumps and they were able to go away. They are still red for a while, but the inflammation is gone.
