small bumps

Recommended Posts

Hi all I live in uk

I have been on roaccutane for nearly 2 months now 40 mg per day.

First 2 weeks had my IB then slowly started clearing my really oily forehead and nose completely dried up.

But over the last 1-2 weeks I have noticed oil returning not as bad as when starting roaccutane and had a few spots come up.

The thing is especially on my forehead I have lots of small hard bumps I can feel them when washing.

But I see no sebum in them and have read so much saying not to squeeze or pick s just want to know while roaccutane get rid of these.

Also my inside of my nasal passages feel so funny I have tried vaseline inside nostrils is it just roaccutane dried me out and I need to drink a lot more water because it sure feels strange.

Not sure about the bumps, wouldn't worry too much, but I can definatley sympathise with the nostrils. Ouch, they do hurt, dried up blood etc. No nice, and vaseline isn't helping me now I'm in my 3rd month (about half way through it actually) my spots have cleared very well, it's just the very dry skin I have to deal with - especially the nostrils. Yeh, drink lots of water, it just makes you feel better full stop!

Good luck.

I got the bumps right at the top of my cheek bones at about 3 weeks in and then again a few weeks later. I added extra moisturizing, which helped a bit.

I've been doing the vaseline in the nostrils, too. Urgh. It only helps a tiny bit.
