Seborrhoeic dermatitis - flakey skin

Recommended Posts

ok so i know flakey skin is a symptom of sebhorrhoeic dermatitis but does any1 know what is actually causing the skin to become flakey (if that make sence). as in, why does the skin flake and what exactly are the flakes (just dead skin or something).

if i were to completly get rid of my Seborrhoeic dermatitis would that mean that my flakey skin would also be gotten rid of ?

does any1 know if Seborrhoeic dermatitis can produce small acne like spots ? becuase i still seem to get very few of them and they are very tiny ... but someimes itchy

by the way my flakey skin is mostle around my beard area on my face and i have tiny bit of flaking on my scalp (more on my face though)

Yeast, or fungi that normally live on our skin, somehow infect the pores..Nobody really knows why...it's largely genetic. Basically an anti-fungal cream will clear that up, including the flaky skin.
