So what are you actually allowed to eat?

Recommended Posts

I know that you can eat fruit and vegetables(Well, most of them <_< )

and that you can't have any gluten or dairy

But all the other stuff is so confusing, like some people say you can have brown rice, and some say no rice at all. I read oats or porridge is fine, then someone else says you can't have that either. Same thing with CousCous.

I also read two conflicting acnce websites, one saying wholegrains are bad and one saying they help clear it up. :doubt:

I just don't know what to eat anymore

Red meat, broccoli, and eggs make up the bulk of my diet. Sometimes I have bacon with my eggs in the morning, and my snacks are usually tuna or celery w/ natural peanut butter.

This is what works best for me, and my skin is less oily.

Because it's individual. None of those grains are bad unless you have problems digesting them or are allergic. Start by cutting out processed foods especially sugar and hydrogenated fats. After that you just have to try eliminating things. Grains and dairy are 2 of the most common problems. Neither of which are a problem for me. Citrus, however, causes me to breakout in cysts.

So to answer what 'exactly you can eat,' you can eat real, nutrient rich foods that you don't have an intolerance for.
