Has anyone had any success permanently flattening raised scars (keloid/hypertrophic)? I'm not too worried about the color, or texture of the scars, but I really want to make them flat with the rest of my skin. I heard cortisone shots can help, but will they always come back up? I was told a series of cortisone shots could keep it down. Any other suggestions?

try silicone sheets, I had a few hypertrophic scars on both sides on my jaw line and the sheets really helped me. The scars on my left side are no longer rasied but you can kind of still see the skin texture isnt perfect but Im ok with that. The scars on my right were a lot worse but they have gotten better, Id say they are at least 75% smaller than before. It takes awhile though, Ive been using them for over a year now.
