I found a little mark on my hip the other night and since have been freaking out that it's ringworm, and thus treating it 2x daily with generic Lomitrin (athlete's foot antifungal cream that is also used for ringworm and jock itch).

It's just a small (not even as big as a penny) horseshoe shaped pink mark, slightly raised, and low on my left hip. It itched slightly the night I found it, but not at all since. 2 days later, it is barely visible anymore.

I am really disgusted by any sort of fungus (I get nauseous just looking at the pictures on bottles of nail fungus treatment), so I am freaking out here. I looked up some info online and found that people often misdiagnose other non-fungal ailments, like eczema, for ringworm. I'm praying that it isn't ringworm, but to be on the safe side I'll treat it like the real deal.

Any advice or experiences?
