Using too hot of water is just bad for your skin, let alone red marks. Warm is recommended.
Unfortunately, I don't think water temperature matters in helping your red marks.
Use warm/skin-temperature water. Hot water makes it look really bad for a while afterwards.
I dont think it makes a difference long term though (I haven't wanted to find out!)
Ware-temperature water is good for your skin. For the reason, your skin temperature is same as warm temperature water. Hot/cold water make really huge acnes because they just get bad stimulus on the acne pimples.
