It's hard, doesn't hurt, leaves a hole. What is it?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to google this, but I don't know what the name is.

I get it sometimes on my face. It feels hard to the touch. It's kind of white and clear, and small (maybe a bit smaller than a grain of sand) It doesn't hurt when I touch it, and if I pull it out, it leaves a small hole on my skin?

Those are just clogged pores that happen to be more solid than the exudate from others. Those can get large under the skin, too, and when extracted (accidentally or intentionally) can leave a large permanent scar.

Regular exfoliation will help minimize the appearance of any type of clogged pores. There are two types of exfoliation: mechanical and chemical. I use both. I use the baby's hair brush method (some like an electric toothbrush) and I also use glycolic acid and a retinoid.
