Keith! 0 Share Posted August 9, 2008 I use witch hazel as a toner and i love it. It is a astringent meaning it cleans like alcohol but it is less harsh. I notice it shrinks my pores, controls oil, and lightens redness... I use it after cleansing my face with a mild face wash. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
unsp0kenwords 0 Share Posted August 10, 2008 I use Dickinson's Witch Hazel Daily Facial Toner. It's natural and non-drying. It actually makes my face look more radiant and healthy. It has 14% alcohol, which is great because it kills the bacteria in the areas where you have acne, but doesn't dry out your whole face. It's especially best for people with oily or combination skin. As for the acne scars, I'm not sure if it fades them, but it definitely reduces the redness of the scars making them less noticeable. Try it out, it won't hurt your skin.
