At this writing moment I have two active acne breakouts (And I can see around two-three on the way). From what I understand, these are "Inflammatory Pustule". Some red blemish areas also. I usually get acne around my nose and on my chin.

My first move was just to buy some basic cleaners couple a years ago. After that I started with Basiron which contains Benzoyl Peroxide. Well still no luck and I was just trying more expensive cleaning products. Started with Vitamin B5 and have been using it for about six month and I am not sure if its helping me or not since I have in these month changed a lot of creams etc. I called the Hospital and I could not get a skin-specialist or dermatologist as you call 'em in the states, just a regular doctor.

He gave me Differin, used for about three month. No improvements, Acne was still mild to moderate. At this time I was also squeezing out my pimples.

Next up was Aberela. Maybe you not heard of it since the name might only appear in my country. Well the active substance is Tretinoin. Starting with some extra breakups then calmed a bit down and saw some improvements. Not much really. I also started using more natural products also which what I think improved a little so my schedule looked something like this now.

Morning:

Cleansing: Philosophy (Purity)

Exfoliating: Paula's Choice (2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Gel)

Anti-blemish/Spot treatment: Miessence (Purifying Blemish Gel)

Moisturizing: Desert Essence (Jojoba Oil)

Before bed:

Cleansing: Philosophy (Purity)

Anti-blemish/Spot treatment: Miessence (Purifying Blemish Gel)

Moisturizing: Desert Essence (Jojoba Oil)

Prescription medicine: Aberela 0,05%

Well I think I have given Aberela a fair chance now and I am considering to call the doctor again but what will he's next move be really? Should I ask for something in particular or maybe a skin-specialist? Something else happened also, I had eye inflammation for two weeks and the eye-gel the doctor prescribed to me gave me a very bad allergic reaction to my skin which is not really helping (AAAARGH). My skins feel very itchy and it did before the allergic reaction too. I am also having an idea of going back to Basiron and give it a proper try since when I used it way back I did not really do it right so to speak but a cream like Differin and Aberela should be better, right?

You may be given a higher dose of tretinoin or a more powerful retinoid. A skin-specialist will choose what is best for you. I am not sure about the concentrations of tretinoin that are prescribed in the UK

Well, appointment is done. Results = Nothing. He did not want to do anything just continue using Aberela. He says that it needs many month for it to work. Even though I have been using it everyday since April. :wall:

That Accutane online seems all the sudden much more appealing... :shhh: He mentioned a cream as a "next step cream". I could not really exactly remember what he said but something like Basilim or Baslim or something like that.
