..............STRETCH MARKS...................

Recommended Posts

In my recent freaking-out about new acne scars, I'd forgotten all about the stretch marks! Arrgh. javascript:emoticon('](*,)')

Well. I second your question, then.

And also... how long does it usually take until they fade? I've had these these things for 4 months, and they look almost the same!

Is there any way to prevent them from becoming permanent while they're still relatively new?? I've been using vitamin E topical stuff, but I really can't tell if it's doing anything.

Don't waste your time on topicals. Cocoa butter will help FADE them....to a white silvery color. Which is still pretty noticeable.

There is a laser called Coolbeam which is brand new and still very expensive but it's the only thing that can actually REMOVE stretch marks 75%-100%. google it, I'm probably going to get it done on the stretch marks on my back this summer.

Woohoo!!! Thanks. smile.gif

I'll ask my dermatologist about it when I see him in a couple weeks. Hopefully I can get my insurance to cover it, but somehow I doubt it...
