Does washing off benzoyl peroxide after putting it on make it a waste of time?

I too scared that I will bleach my brand new expensive blue sheets it if I leave bp on my face before I sleep. So I was wondering how much it would effect the regimen if I waited like ten minutes after putting on bp, then washing it off and puting on lotion. Or would it be more beneficial to do the regimen just in the morning, then use my perscriped medication,Tazorac Gel (Tarazotene), at night?

Thanks for the input.

I have been using this regimen for about 5 months and let me tell you that it dries relatively quickly. It will not stain your sheets because it will be dry. I have never had this issue and my sheets are all sorts of colors [including dark blue, light blue, pink, yellow and black]. Just be sure to apply it at least 10 minutes before bed. I think washing it off defeats the purpose, but that's not a 100% sure answer.

If you wait for it to be completely absorbed by your skin and it is dry, then I think you'll be fine.
