can supplements be taken with brocolli/cauliflower?

Brocolli and cauliflower contain a large amount of fiber correct? So would eating this as part of your meal prior to taking your supplements, lessen the effects of the supplements taken? Also is it really neccesary to take supplements with food like it says on the back of most vitamin labels?

Or would it fine to take the supplents an hour or two after your meal?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Those vegetables are okay to take supplements with. But if you're taking minerals, it would be better to take them with meat; and if you're taking fish oil, it's best to take that with a source of saturated fat. The only thing I would take with broccoli is probably Vitamin C and myabe a B Complex.
