questions about dryness

okay, so ive been on the regimen for about two weeks now

and my skin cleared up almost immediatley and there was no dryness for the first whole week

after that, it was just like overnight it got so dry and flaky.

my routine is

cetaphil gentle cleanser

one pump of dan's bp

then like three pumps of neutrogena oil free moisturizer for combination skin and one pump of

jojoba oil

i just want to know if my skin will get more used to the bp

and not be so dry or if i should cut down on my use of bp

and get a different moisturizer?

or do i just have to deal with it?

When I used the Cetaphil cleanser, it dried my face out a lot. I switched to Dan's cleanser and it drastically improved my dry skin problem, though didn't solve it completely. It made it easy to manage at least. I am about to try a new cleanser, however. It's Purpose Gentle Cleanser. It's available at Wal-mart and I have read nothing but good things about it and how it doesn't dry your face out.

You may want to start there, because 3 pumps of moisturizer should be more than enough to moisturize anything..

try adding emu oil at night, I'm on week 5 and I still have really really dry flaky skin but I add a few drops of emu oil at night and some jojoba oil during the day to dan's moisturizer and it's helped a lot....the emu oil also helps with the "lobster face" problem i had with the dry skin
