Scar Tissue

Recommended Posts

It occurs to mean that ablative treatments (lasers, peels) remove the outward layers and some other methods (like fillers) and lasers plump up the loser levels of skin.

So how important is it to remove the scared tissue on the outer level? Is there scar tissue on the outer level? Maybe there's just a spot underneath the epidermis where collagen won't thrive and missing collagen *is* the scar?

If you could just plump up the skin underneath, would you need to remove the scar tissue?
