i recently purchased a bottle of cod liver oil capsules @ 10 minims because i'm interested in adding it to my diet. it contains 1,250 UI of vitamin a and 100 UI of vitamin d.

supplements i'm currently taking: 1000 mg of spirulina, 1000 mg vitamin c, 2000 ui vitamin d. my diet usually consists of milk, yogurt, water, fruits & veggies.

do you think it's safe to start taking?? what is too much? it says maximum daily dose: 8 capsules. how many capsules do you think would be effective, yet safe?

Most CLO bottles recommend a serving size of one teaspoon (5mL) once a day with a meal. I'd stick with that equivalent amount of your capsules.

Cod liver oil can safely be consumed at the 1 teaspoon/100 pounds of body weight per day level.

But your cod liver oil supplement is different from mine. The Vitamin A:Vitamin D ratio in yours is way off.
