I know you can get EFAs from all kinds of sources, for example, will it make a difference if I take Borage Oil or Fish Oil? or .. Evening Primrose Oil vs. Flaxseed Oil? Are they all simply EFAs, or do some have something else in them beneficial for acne?

EFAs are split into two categories: omega-3s and omega-6s. These two omega-#s are then split into further categories.

For omega-3s, you should supplement EPA and DHA. Omega-6s generally do not need to be supplemented, although evening primrose oil is sometimes justified.

The source of EPA and DHA is fish oil or cod liver oil. Flaxseed oil provides omega-3s, but not EPA or DHA.
