Smoothbeam Laser

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am new to the board. I have been having the smoothbeam laser on these sebaceous hyperplasia. The highest setting she will go is 11.5. I have had two l11.0 setting and one 11.5.,

I don't where I read this information, but I recall the settings were higher. I haven't seen much change. I don't want to waste my money, but I am patient to see if more treatments will make a difference. Could anyone shed some light on this?

My Derm electro-cauterized my hyperplasia spots and it seemed to do the trick. About $100 for 5 spots. I've not heard of any sort of laser treatment for this condition, so your post interested me. Did it hurt? Getting them electrocuted didn't feel great but it was nice to get those buggers off my nose!

Hope this helps, good luck to you!

Doesn't that leave scars after the sebaceous hyperplasia are burned off?

There was a nurse that use to talk about doing the smoothbeam. Maybe she will reply to this. Thanks for your response.
