Ok ive been on tazorac for a while now and ive been taking the gel for like 3 weeks. When i got a refil it was cream.. maybe this was a mistake but i dont know. Ive been taking tazorac gel .05 and suddenly my refil is tazorac cream .05. What is the difference between the cream and gel? Which one is better? and would it make a difference if i start using the creaM?

Soem people say the creams are comedogenic and the gels are not. I have also heard that the creams contain glycerin, which has slight antibiotic properties.

From my experience, the gel is better for more severe acne but the side effects are worse than the cream. The cream though I feel is good at maintaining good skin and preventing small breakouts (like after Accutane) and much better than the gel for redmarks/scars.
