Glycolic acid burn

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this is the wrong forum but anyway I put a bit too much glycolic acid on one spot of my back, which lead to a burn which peeled and is now a dark spot about the size of a nickel. Is there anything i can do to fix this? I tried to look up discoloration from glycolic burns but found nothing. Maybe I'm a rare person who is affected that way?

Anyway, is there anything i can try to bring the color back to normal? The skin is smooth, just brownish.

You might have a first degree burn or worst. If its a first degree burn just keep it away from any sunglight and you should be ok . If its a 2nd degree burn you are pretty much toast, not only will it appear read but will appear shiny. Dermabrasion or co2 lasers may help nothing else will.
