Music just mellows me out more than anything in the world. What's your favorite song to listen to when you don't feel so great and why? I really like anything John Mayer, hearing his voice calms me down, and of course he's totally adorable. I also like Angel by Sarah McLachlan because it makes me realize that there's always an angel is always watching over me. I hope people answer :surprised: great topic. i love music. i am a big r&b junkie. lol. and i don't have one favorite song, but i have many favorites. speaking of john mayer, i like some of his songs, too. your body is a wonderland is my favorite song of his. n i also like.. arms of mine - otis redding fire - babyface whenever you call - mariah carey almost anything by alicia keys. i could go on and on. lol. I listen to a lot of old stuff...blues stuff, The Allman Brothers Band, and then stuff like Robert Johnson. The great thing about blues is that it can relate to your feelings. Women, being alone, depressed etc., blues can let you get it out. One of my all time favorite songs is "Blue Sky" by the Allman Brothers Band. When I listen to them i feel like it defines me. My music is who I am sorta. It makes me happy to listen to stuff like tha tbecause I know that most teens my age don't listen to stuff like I do. Its sorta my personal personality. It makes me feel unique and I can say to myself 'this is my music. This is who I am..so who cares what others think" and it makes me forget about my acne. One of my favorite bands to listen to for me to get that 'feeling' is Creedence Clearwater Revival. Something about their songs gives me an old-timey feel which makes me happy. I dont know. I also love Bob Marley.I also love Hawaiian music. I used to live in Hawaii and it really brings back some great memories. Before life got complicated..ya know?
