Has anyone heard about the possible negative effects of sunscreens, such as the fact that sunscreen usage is correlated with a higher risk of malignant melanomas? Also, does it really need to be applied every two hours, because as a daily sunscreen user, applying every 2 hours is impossible for me.

I really don't want to be applying sunscreen daily if there is a chance it is not good for me; I'd rather cut out using BHA altogether just to avoid having to wear sunscreen every day.

I think this video might answer your first question. I don't see why you should have to apply sunscreen every 2 hours, unless you've been swimming or sweating a lot.
