Less CAN be more. Im using nothing now... and im acne free. im just like Fuzion.

Some need creams...moisturizers...lotions... Some just dont. Everyone has different skin types.

You just have to find whats best for your skin.

I guess it depends on the causes & severity of your acne. I've heard and I believe that acne can be caused by over-washing, etc. because when you dry out your skin your body goes overboard while trying to replace the oil you're removing. Personally, I've experimented with it and I broke out more. However, my acne was at the accutane level (docs won't prescribe it to me because I have a history of severe depression). So, I do wash my face several times a day and apply a lot of topical treatments, but I know I need it. Note, however, that I am a freak of nature.

Bingo.

Just try to find the right combination for you. If you find that using too many products irritates your skin, try experimenting with just washing your face and applying a topical whenever you need it most.

Over a few years of experimentation I found that my skin is tough as nails during the spring and summer months, but it's very sensitive in the fall and winter months. I use a lot of products during the summer because I need the extra exfoliation, but in the winter I usually just wash my face, moisturize, and apply salicylic acid on occasion.
