how do you know if its an "initial breakout" or its just ruining ur skin?

Well, Ive been using this peel-off mask for about 2 weeks now (2-3 times a week) cuz of my red marks and a lot of CLOGGED PORES around my nose and chin.... well now, the clogged pores are all small raised bumps that are really bumpy. Is this the clogged pores finally coming to the surface.... or is this mask just irritating my skin? Plz help, I have no idea if I should continue use of it......

Thanx in advance.

I would give new products a month - 6 weeks chance of working then dump it if it's still irritating.

what kind of mask is it? Did you hear good reviews about it before you bought it, or is it something you found on your own? If it's something you've heard that has a purging phase then stick with it, but if it's just one of those cheap drug store masks then you might want to be a bit more careful. It's no fun when you do something trying to help, and end up hurting your skin worse than before... If it tingles or stings when you use it, then my guess would be that it's irritation, otherwise I dunno. It's a good question though. How do we ever really know? I personally don't really like masks, but that's because I always used to use those crappy 50 cent masks you get in the little packets. Anyways, I've rambled on... Good luck! After all that I'm just gonna go ahead and agree with Welshlad!

Well for me, I tried the Honey mask for a couple of days.

By day three I had little bumps all over my face. They didn`t itch or hurt. Sorta looked like a rash. I used nothing different otherwise. I immediately stopped using it. Took like a week && a half to get my face back to normal.

If the bumps are like the bumps i described then, I think you should stop using it for a couple of days and see if theres any improvement.

If it was me I would stop using it. I would try and find the receipt and take it back to the drugstore.

I bought some zit cream the other week to try it and it made my pimples really red. I took it back and told them I was not happy with it. And it was no problem, they took it back. I am tired of wasting money on things that dont work.
