face oil production

My face is producing to much oil/sebum;

If I wash my face with dan's cleanser; my face is really oily after just 2 or 3 hours.

It looks really bad, shiny and all; feels (and looks!) like you have loads of olive oil on your skin.

(see below for my regimen)

My regimen is each day:

- dan's cleanser+BP (applying it before bed time)+moisturizer

- 2 pills (2gram) of B5 (panthonic acid)

- 1 pill of zinc (30mgram)

- 1 pill with fish oil

- Sometimes jojoba oil after showering

- drink much water; helps a little

If I stop using BP; pimples will come back. The jojoba oil helps a little with my blackheads on my nose; but not much.

Can somebody tell me what I can do? Why does my face produce that much oil?

It is really annoying; especially at work(where you cannot wash your face regularly)

I hope somebody knows what I mean/how it is. Advice?

I can share my experience with you. I also have oily skin. Over-washing only causes more irritation and more breakouts. Now, I wash my face twice a day. When I feel stressed, my face also produces more sebum, which is irritating. So, I suggest you try to reduce your stress.

Thanks for at least answering ;) I really appreciate your support.

My work on the office is a really stress-environment; imagine standing in the elevator and everybody looking to my oily skin.

- I just made a appointment with a dermatologist because it is getting worser; pimples are also coming back; even if I use benzoperoxide (dan's BP) each evening on my whole face.

I never go to the hospital and now I have to wait a month; ..crap..

And I'm afraid they won't take me serious because my condition isn't serious enough in their opinion....

In the meantime I will try to drink herbal tea and much water. :ninja:

I hope they have some non-topical solutions like pills against to much oil production; like accutane...
