Vandergraf 0 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Hi, I have this redness/darkness in my skin that is primarily concentrated on my forehead, area between eyes and the area under my eyes. I'm not sure if it's just mild acne, rosocea or a bad tan but in any case, it results in me looking like a I have pale skin "goggles". (hopefully you can tell in the pic, i'm kind of too shy to post a complete better picture of my face ) Now what would be a good solution to this? I'm a guy but I've been seriously thinking about using makeup to reduce the contrast in my skin. Any suggested makeup? Or would I be better following the regimen religiously? Benzoyl peroxide (Dan's regimen) does not work well for rosacea, as it irritates sensitive skin. BP made my face BRIGHT red. I can't tell if you have rosacea from your picture (too small), nor am I a dermatologist; but if you have general facial redness, but don't have acne--you should see a dermatologist. Acne makes it harder to diagnose rosacea, as the redness could be from the acne, but if you have flushing redness in your face without acne, it's very likely rosacea. Vandergraf 0 Author Share Posted June 28, 2008 I haven't had the time to go see a dermotologist yet but I'm wondering, would Aloe Vera reduce the redness?
