Wow, those earrings look really heavy!

I would be happy to post thinks to pics of jewelry I love! I love showing off my new stuff haha http://www.brightonretail.com/store/wishli...il&p=J43321

I dont have that many earrings and I always end up losing one of them or they fall off my ear. I have a pair of hoops but a part of it it missing. I guess the hooks fell off so now I cannot wear them.

They have some of the most beautiful hand-made jewelry on dA, like you wouldn't believe. :D

O'course, I like ridiculously pretty, gaudy necklaces because I don't often wear earrings or any other jewelry. I just go nuts with the necklace and leave it at that. Otherwise I look like I'm trying to be Princess Peach.

Nell, I liked the first link necklace the very best. The musical notes were beautiful, too!

MiaBeads sure has pretty things, too!

I could spend hours on etsy. Just hours and hours and hours! :D

I am definitely going to buy a JenniferMorrisbeads creation, maybe two! I think they have a victorian elegance to them. i can't imagine making each one of those things out of polymer clay!!! Those tiny little pieces, each one sculpted by hand and likely placed with a tweezer!

That site gives me such warm fuzzies, the beauty and joy of creation is just so much fun! :D

I make sterling silver and stone bead Ear Pin earrings! Just for fun so far but I would like to get set up on Etsy eventually. If anyone is interested in buying some, send me a message. I only charge $8 a pair to cover materials.

I collect vintage jewelry and have tons I plan to alter/repair, but the most I've done is simple restringing and taking apart those button earrings made up of beads and stringing on a pin to make a simple drop.

I have to learn to solder...

@Alternativista and Wynne, I love soldering! I've done it quite a few times and made some neat things. It's really not difficult to learn, I'm sure you'll love it. It's pretty easy to do at home as you can buy an inexpensive mini blow torch ($15.00) and as long as you have some soldering slip, you're good.

Oh, and I'd never heard of Etsy before, but it is so gorgeous. My mouth literally dropped. I know what I want for my birthday :]

All of that jewelry is so beautiful!....it's artistic and unconventional yet not tacky which I think is all too common today =/ and holy crap I didn't know jewelry was a category on DA

I also didn't know about the jewelry category on Deviant Art!

It's also fun to explore Flickr. YouTube has some neat jewelry videos, too!

I finally took two pics of these earrings I just love. The first pair I bought at Nordstrom and the other pair is blown glass and my parents bought me those from West Virginia. Most of my family lives there and when my parents went to my cousins funeral (he died at 42 of alcoholism and his grandmother died around the same time) they bought me this back as a suvinior however you spell it.

Those are really pretty, Molly. The second pair is fabulous in color. The first looks like it is a stone; did they say what kind of stone it is?

My friend has a jewelry site on Etsy.com. Her name is Slymagpie, and her jewelry is really great.

I'll have to check it out! Eventually I'll post some of the stuff I've made or repaired/reworked.

Oh neat, I looked at her work; the hammered silver amber earrings are gorgeous! I want an anvil. :) And a third hand or whatever they're called; I've been using my teeth. My husband would probably drop the end of the thread/wire if I asked him to hold one while I was holding two other wires/threads. :D

Ooooh jewelry! All of my jewelry unfortunately was stolen a couple weeks ago... (along with many more of my things... long, sad story). But anyway, luckily I still had a Steinmart gift card and got some AMAZING dangling earrings earlier today. I'll post a pic tomorrow once I charge my camera........

I also LOVE hand made jewelry. I used to do it with my mom and sold it at art shows......... might be time to get back into it!

Yes, I definitely want to see a picture of your new earrings! :D

Jewelry making is so much fun. I'm working with a brilliant yellow/lime druzy/druzy/druse quartz stone now. It's VERY bright. I have some bubble gum pink ones, too. They are just a lot of fun to look at, even.
