If your skin dries out using the regimen..

This is the regimen that has worked for me:

I'm using a Benzoyl peroxide 5% gel wash, instead of the normal gel which you leave on.

My regimen that has cleared up my skin (morning and evening):

1. Wet face.

2. Apply A LOT of BP wash gel 5 % over infected areas. Leave on for 1-3 minutes and rinse off.

3. Apply a moisturizer. I use an oil-free with salicyd acid in it.

I think the first step is enough to make the BP effect your skin, and if you rinse it of after a few minutes, your skin won't be irritated.

Thanks for sharing your tip.

For many of us, bp washes just aren't on the skin long enough to do much clearing, but I'm glad to hear this is working for you. :)
