Hypertrophic Scarring

Recommended Posts

Has anyone heard/seen good reduction in these cases? I have a very very small linear scar on my face. It blends in w/ the skin but is still unsightly upon closer examination.

I don't wana hear about just dealing w/ it. I get that enough as it is. My question is, is it possible to treat these further? I know it's foolish to question whether 100% improvement can be obtained, but this scar is so very small I wonder.

For example, is it possible to excise a small small scar like this, and use steri-strips to counteract new scar formation? I've read that there are injections/other tx that can be used during op. to reduce recurrence of scar formation following surgery.

If you consider how very small a scar is, couldn't this improvement be more tangible?
