Shallow Scarring and Fraxel

Recommended Posts

Im sure I could find out more about this if i scoured the message boards all night...but thats not something i feel like doing. After taking accutane and being acne free for two years Ive been left with three pretty shallow rolling scars on my right cheek. Ive been considering having fraxel laser treatments done on them. Ive seen a lot of negative comments about fraxel on here but i was wondering if anyone on here has had really good improvement with fraxel on shallow scars or thinks there is a better alternative i should pursue. Any personal experience or suggestions would be appreciated.

Three scars is nothing. I wouldn't bother, esp. if your male. It won't harm your love life.

just my opinion.

Yes, I am thinking about Fraxel Re:pair or TotalFX which I read is way better than the regular Fraxel. You should look into it. I am thinking about getting either one.

3 Scars is not for Fraxel, which will probably cost you $9000 USD for you to see any substantial progress.

Go for spot treatment types like TCA, Needling, spot treating creams etc
