Wierd redness, am I the only one?

Recommended Posts

So everytime i wash, i notice that right around my nose (along the flaps of my nose) and right below my nose (above lips) i get dryness and redness that is unmatched elsewhere on my face. What is the cause of this? I have never gotten acne before in those places, but for some reason, those places dry out and get red. I put moisturizer on but that is only a temporary solution. I am using cetaphil gentle cleanser by the way.

The same as me... I've got a few areas suddenly drying out and getting redness as well after into 3 weeks of the regimen. I thought my face felt tanned! After checking out here, they said it's due to BP.

I feel that the moisturizer does help a little to reduce the dryness if you use a suitable one everyday. The red patches will go away soon enough.

same exact and I use BP. I will start to moisturise more often with it to see if it helps.

Hmm, I have never used BP and since i dont get acne any more, i simply wash my face and use emu oil (for red marks) and moisturizer. Yet, i still get these dry/red spots.

I get that, my nose seems to be naturally redder than the rest of my face. I use anti-inflammatory cream for my acne that's actually designed for rosacea -- it works really well for redness.
