Foods you take accutane with

Recommended Posts

My doctor said fatty foods help your body absorb 'tane best.

Does anyone know of any healthy options?

I'm sick of peanut butter.

(Well actually, not really, but the stuff is making me fat.)

avocado is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its very good for you and has enough fat to ensure good absorption

It can be quite expensive depending on where you live but honestly 1/4 of an avo is all you would need each time

Yeah i dont reccomend dairy. i stopped drinking milk and started takin it with a meal, then 2 tbsp. peanut butter and like 3 or 4 fish oil pills, and i haven't broken out since. i think it absorbs way better that way.

Just do a glass of milk... anything but skim.

Ah!

I'm trying to avoid dairy. Will soy milk work? Almond? Rice?

I'm trying to avoid dairy, too. But we all need to take calcium. It's important to keep your born strong! So I eat an organic yogurt (no hormone added, so that I don't break out). It's a little bit expensive, but it's healthy and worth the money :). Try it! Oh, soy milk is good for you, too.
