Retin A and Retin A micro

Recommended Posts

what is the difference between the two? is one better or stronger than the other?

Micro - adds what they call "Microsponge system", which to me looks like super-glue (methyl methacrylate, glycol dimethacrylate crosspolymer) but I'm sure helps with delivery or something. That's the only difference I believe.

Retin-A micro is a time-released version of Retin-A. The drug is absorbed slowly over hours, rather than all at once. This is why people often experience less side effects from it than from regular Retin-A.
